Pavel Kaidl came to Siemens from telecommunications company GTS Novera where he had worked for seven years. He had also previously worked as a spokesman for Eurotel and held similar positions in communications departments of Czech Television and financial company Provident Financial.

Pavel Kaidl, 34, studied at the Faculty of Science at Charles University in Prague where he completed interdepartmental studies in geography and history with a focus on pedagogy. He is fluent in English, and speaks German and French. In his leisure time, he enjoys ball sports, long-distance running and playing the drums. He is single.
