In the Czech Republic as well as worldwide, our company complies with demanding ecological standards. Our products, all production facilities and waste management are environmentally friendly and contribute to sustainable development. Siemens is a holder of the ISO14001:2004 certificate of the EMS system.
The management of all Siemens Group companies in the Czech Republic has declared an Environmental Policy, stemming from the environmental policy of Siemens AG and expressing these principles:
- The approach of our company towards environmental issues is in accordance with valid legal regulations and norms;
- We guarantee our customers that our products and procedures are in accordance with the latest findings about environmental protection;
- The permanent decrease of potential negative effects on the environment is secured through an integrated and maintained system (Environmental Management System - EMS).
The company's management is obliged to:
- Provide for resources to increase the awareness of its employees about the sense and ways of protecting the environment;
- Regularly control the fulfillment of goals stemming from the EMS;
- Enable all employees to implement the environmental policy.
The company's management expects from their employees:
- An active approach to improve their knowledge about environmental protection;
- Ideas as to how to improve the company's environmental profile;
- In all activities, particularly waste management, to use and prefer such procedures that are environmentally friendly in a maximum way.
